KUALA TERENGGANU: The police have reminded the people not to listen to rumours about the political situation in Terengganu.
Terengganu police chief Datuk Jamshah Mustapa said this is because the
spread of SUCH rumours could threaten the peace and public order.
"The security situation in Terengganu is under control with no untoward incidents that can threaten the peace and public order.
"The people are advised not to engage in undesirable activities," he
told reporters after visiting patients at Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital,
here today.
Jamshah warned that the police would not hesitate to take action
against those who attempted to create chaos in the state.--BERNAMA
