SEREMBAN: Two masked gunmen got away with jewelry amounting to RM400,000 after robbing a jewelry store at Jalan Tunku Hassan, here, at 5.30pm today.
In a span of three minutes the men came into Kedai Emas Permata De Nice a few minutes before closing time and robbed the sole sales attendant at the counter.
"We were about to close the shop when these men ventured in, pointing a gun at my worker," the 41-year-old said. The other worker was at the back of the store."
Tang Sai Foo, the owner of the store, said the men scared his worker by constantly reloading the guns.
The gunmen then got away with the stolen goods using a motorcycle without harming anyone.
Seremban police chief Assistant Commissioner Zainal Abu confirmed the incident and said the incident would be investigated under Section 357 and 359 of the Penal Code for armed robbery.
